SUMMARY:AC BOS Meeting: Sheriff Oversight
DESCRIPTION:AB1185 Sheriff Oversight will be discussed at the AC BOS Public Protection meeting this Thursday\, May 19 at 10am.  It is the second agenda item. It’s a hybrid meeting so zoom participation is welcome\, including for public comment.\n\nOpponents of oversight – some clearly influenced by the Oathkeepers’ movement promoting the ultimate authority of sheriff’s over state and county laws – have started to show up.
