Workshop: Affordable Housing on Faith Lands

Congregations’ underused parking lots, buildings, and land could be transformed into affordable housing which could create an income source as well as meet the needs of their neighbors while stimulating internal vitality. Northern California Congregational Land Initiative (CLI) will provide an overview of the process of assessing vision/feasibility and getting matched with a housing developer. In collaboration with Faith in Action East Bay, the NorCal CLI, led by Jim Bergdoll, AICP, and Mary Biasotti is a faith-rooted team of professionals and leaders advising congregations in developing their property for spiritual vitality and community impact.
