A Day of Learning with GO Public Schools and Catholic Charities East Bay
Catholic Charities East Bay and GO Public Schools are teaming up to bring you a special and FREE day of learning on Saturday June 6th from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm at the Catholic Charities East Bay Richmond Service Center (217 Harbour Way Richmond, CA).
Catholic Charities East Bay will kick off the day with a Family Preparedness Workshop from 10:00 am -11:30 am. Know your rights and protect your family. This workshop is designed for all families — regardless of immigration status. Learn about emergency planning, understand your legal rights, and connect with trusted community resources. Your safety matters. You belong here.
Then, GO Public Schools will facilitate a Family Leadership Workshop from 11:45 am – 2:30 pm. Whether you’re new to education advocacy or already speaking up at meetings, our Family Leadership Program offers tools and support to help you grow your impact. You’ll connect with other families and change-makers, explore how school systems work, explore key data, and build skills to advocate effectively for change in your child’s school and beyond.
