Rise and Vote

The midterms are fast approaching. Whatever the issue, ballot initiative, etc. voter turnout is critical to create the change our families are seeking. As you know, our goal in the Rise and Vote program is to: 1) increase voting among BIPOC and low-income families; 2) build a bloc of pro-working family faith voters; and 3) develop civic leaders through relational organizing who are engaged year-round in legislative and ballot campaigns to advance voting rights, housing, criminal justice and immigration reform, raise wages and benefits for low-wage workers, and move the country toward clean energy.

On Wednesday, August 31 Rise and Vote is holding a special two-hour call to review all things related to Faith in Action’s voter engagement program including:

·      Overview of FINAL Faith in Action’s 8 week plan and partnership with federations;

·      NEW Coaching: Bring your plan and staff will review and give feedback

·      Overview of toolkits and resources for federations

·      August actions and echo events;

·      NEW Training #2: Managing a Voter Program (50 Minute training for all persons working on voter engagement)

This meeting is for directors, organizers, clergy, data leads, voting leads and super leaders leading teams for voter engagement.  We highly recommend all staff join.
