- Slightly older affinity demographics (i.e. Millennials, GenX, etc.)
What voter engagement ‘activities do you suggest we do this year?
- Education events: pros and cons
- Registering people in concert lines
- Engaging other organizations: Unity Council, La Clinica, Boys and Girls Club
- Town hall meetings
- Messaging that comes from the community it is targeting
- House meetings
- Door canvassing
- Phone banking
- Host a party and a concert
- Candidate forums
Agreements:
- Plan for a voter engagement kickoff event around May 20, 2024 (date is flexible) which we want to be:
- Fun
- Informative – people can learn about all the different ways they can engage voters this year
- Engaging – They are empowered to take next steps to commit to these activities
- Transformational – People who are disillusioned, disenchanted, and disenfranchised by the political system feel a sense of agency again.
