Integration of PICO’s shared agenda with FIAEB’s political strategy
- Measure Z and Prop 47 support our agenda to focus on investing in public safety while being mindful and intentional about how we deal with crime: namely investing in resources for the community and reducing the flow of our people into prison
Pillars of Voter Engagement Strategy
We commit to 4,000 conversations with 3,000 voters to turn out for our voting agenda in 2024:
- Focus on obtaining congregational lists to encourage deeply relational conversations
- Pledge cards from our congregations
- Friends and family
- Incorporating “cold” lists from PDI to help us reach our conversation goals
Public actions
- We will collaborate with the Bay Area Housing for All Coalition to build strategic relationships and hold press conferences to support the BAHFA Housing Bond
- We will hold candidate forms to insure the proper implementation and accountability of our agenda
- Map out key compression moments: July 15 – August 30 Relational phone calls, September 1 – November 4: phone banking and door- knocking around ballot measures, November 5 – Election Day
