Hundreds of Faith Leaders to Hold Walk and Vigil at S.F. Immigration Court and ICE Detention Center
A non-violent, multi-faith walk and vigil by Bay Area faith leaders and people of faith will be a demonstration of moral courage and moral leadership as ICE/federal agents escalate violence against immigrants.
San Francisco, CA – At 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, nearly four hundred faith leaders from across the Bay will gather to walk from S.F. Immigration Court to ICE offices/detention center where they will hold a vigil of prayer and song to express shared values of equality, freedom, and democracy. The event will highlight the community’s strength, hope, and solidarity as federal policies seek to isolate, divide, and terrorize communities.
The walk and vigil is a peaceful protest in response to ICE’s illegal and immoral racial profiling, separation of families, and violation of detention rights. Participants seek to advocate for solutions for thriving communities that include the departure of ICE/federal agents and investment in resources that help everyone thrive and belong. The event will include faith leaders and people of faith from diverse traditions and all are welcome to join in hope and solidarity.
